Here's what you need to do to start sending online orders

To start sending online orders and accepting online payments:

1. Set up your Stripe account.

2. Send your first order online.

Set up your Stripe account

Follow these instructions to set up your Stripe account within Purple Go.

Send contact lenses order and accept payment online

Once Stripe is connected, try sending a simple contact lens order to yourself.

  1. Go to your Orders screen

  2. Create an order

  3. Select contact lenses

  4. Select the manufacturer, for example "Johnson & Johnson"

  5. Select the contact lens brand, for example "Acuvue 1-Day Moist"

  6. Type in price per box, "$99.00". You can save this for future orders.

  7. Select # of boxes and add to order

  8. Select insurance and add a discount with an amount indicating their insurance benefits of $150. Tap on Update to save it. (At this point you can add service fee like shipping)

  9. Tap on "+" on the upper left and add patient information with phone number and email address.

  10. Finally, tap Send Order to send them the order.

Let your patient know you sent them an online order to their email and they can complete the payment anytime. You can also text them a link from your iPad.

Once your lens enhancements are set up, you'll be able to use the same process to send eyeglass orders as well.

Confirming your online order

Once your patient has completed the order, you'll receive an email notifying you that the order is ready to be confirmed. Go to app and go to orders screen and find their order to confirm.

Once your order is confirmed, Purple Go takes care of all the payment processing. Your patient will get an email indicating that their order has been confirmed.
