After an order has been purchased, you can now send patients an automated email and/or SMS message when their order (entire order or individual items) is ready for pick-up or shipped. Purple Go will send an automated email on your behalf to notify patients that their order is ready to be picked up in the store.
Send Notification from Orders Screen
To send an order notification:
Go to Orders screen
Select a completed order
Tap on the "..." button
Tap on "Send order notification" button
Select which items from the order you want to send pick-up or shipped notification
To switch between pick up or shipped please select the Delivery Method
Select Email and / or SMS
Email will send them an email to their email address from your email address
SMS will send a text message from a Purple Go phone number
Tap on Send
Customizing the Pick Up and Shipped Notification Message
You can customize the notification email message and text message by logging into your account. To do so:
Log into your account from the web at https://app.purplego.co/login
Once you enter your email and password, click on the upper right under My Account
Scroll down to the Patient Notifications and click on the Edit button to change the notification messages.
