Purple Go provides you an easy way to capture patient's prescriptions including contacts and eyeglasses prescriptions. Instantly snap a picture and save it to patients profile or add it to their eyeglasses or contacts order.
Add prescription to a patient
From the home screen:
Tap on patients
Tap on a patient in the list
Tap on prescriptions
From here, you can add an eyeglasses prescription or contacts prescriptions under the patient profile:
Tap on add prescription button
Select either eyeglasses prescription or contacts prescription
Attach an image of the prescription
An easy alternative to entering in all the prescription information is to take an image of the prescription. To do so:
Tap on the "+" or "camera" to add an image of eyeglasses prescription
Add prescription data
You can enter in the meta data for the prescription like sphere, cylinder, axis, etc. To do so, just tap on a field and enter in the information. You're not required to complete these fields when you create the prescription. You can complete them after the customer has left or when the order is purchased.
Once you've added a prescription to a patient, it's accessible under the patient profile and you can edit prescriptions any time.
Add prescription to an order
Once you add a patient to an order, you can easily access all of their prescriptions from the order screen. It's an easy way to quickly pull it up or edit it.
Add prescription to patient
You can add a prescription to a patient on the order screen. To do so tap on the "+" button under the new Rx section. Follow the instructions stated above on how to add a contacts or eyeglasses prescription.
Add prescription to the eyeglass order
You can add an existing or new eyeglasses prescription to an eyeglass order.
Tap on the "options" button on the eyeglass item and you'll enter the frame options screen.
Tap on the "+" to add the prescription
Select the eyeglasses prescription
Tap on "add to order" button
After you add the prescription, you can select a few lens options to add to their order. Tap on "update" to save the prescription and lens options to their eyeglass order. Now you'll have a full order form that you can print out to start processing the order.
Printing Order Form
After adding a prescription to an eyeglasses order, you'll now have a full order which contains the eyeglasses prescriptions, frames details, and lens options. You'll now be able to print out a full order form. To do so, tap on "..." button
To see detailed order form, use the 2 finger gesture to zoom on the image of the print out.
